# Terms of Service for JobVector **Last updated:** June 1, 2026 ## 1. Overview Welcome to JobVector. JobVector is a free web-based job matching site operated by Alon Duvall at https://jobvector.io. By using JobVector, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. ## 2. What JobVector Does JobVector helps users compare their background with job postings and receive automated job recommendations. Users may upload or paste resume information and job preferences. JobVector may use automated ranking, embeddings, machine learning, text analysis, AI search, or similar tools to analyze resume and job text. JobVector is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or career advisor. JobVector does not guarantee that any job recommendation will be accurate, available, suitable, complete, or up to date, or that use of the site will lead to an interview, job offer, or employment. ## 3. Who May Use JobVector JobVector is intended for users who are 18 years old or older. By using the site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that your use of the site is lawful where you live. ## 4. User-Submitted Information You are responsible for the information you submit to JobVector. You should not submit information that you do not have the right to provide. JobVector does not intentionally request sensitive personal information. Resumes may contain sensitive information if users choose to include it, so you should avoid submitting sensitive information unless you believe it is necessary. You grant JobVector permission to process the information you submit only as needed to operate the service, analyze your background, compare it with job postings, return job recommendations, maintain the site, improve the service in ways consistent with the Privacy Policy, troubleshoot problems, and protect the site from misuse. ## 5. Job Postings and Third-Party Sources Job postings shown through JobVector may come from third-party sources. JobVector does not control those third-party postings and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, content, hiring decisions, application processes, or external websites. If you click a link to a third-party website, that website’s own terms and privacy policy apply. JobVector does not send your resume to employers or job sources. ## 6. Acceptable Use You agree not to misuse JobVector. For example, you may not: Use the site for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes. Upload malicious code, viruses, or content intended to interfere with the site. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to JobVector, its systems, or its service providers’ systems. Overload, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site in a way that harms or disrupts the service. Use JobVector to violate someone else’s privacy, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights. ## 7. Intellectual Property JobVector includes software, design, text, and other site materials created by or for Alon Duvall, except for third-party content such as job postings or other materials from outside sources. You may use JobVector for your own personal job search purposes. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the site or its materials without permission. You keep ownership of your resume and other information you submit. ## 8. Privacy JobVector’s collection and use of personal information is described in the JobVector Privacy Policy at https://jobvector.io/privacy. By using JobVector, you also agree to the Privacy Policy. ## 9. Availability and Changes JobVector is currently provided as a free service. The site may change, stop working, or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. JobVector may update job data, ranking methods, features, design, or these Terms as the site changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms. ## 10. No Warranty JobVector is provided “as is” and “as available.” JobVector does not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs. Job recommendations are automated and may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing job postings, employers, application requirements, and career decisions for yourself. ## 11. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent allowed by law, JobVector and Alon Duvall will not be liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the site, whether such liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory. JobVector and Alon Duvall will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or similar damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, including lost opportunities, lost income, lost data, employment outcomes, or problems caused by third-party websites or job postings. Some laws do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you. ## 12. Indemnification To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobVector and Alon Duvall from and against any claims, liabilities, costs, demands, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your misuse of JobVector, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. ## 13. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. ## 14.
