JobVector is a free web-based job matching site operated by Alon Duvall at https://jobvector.io. This Privacy Policy explains what information JobVector may collect, how it is used, and what choices users have.

JobVector is designed to help users compare their background with job postings and receive job recommendations.

## 2. Information You Provide

When using JobVector, you may upload or paste resume information and job preferences.

This information may include your name, phone number, email address, job titles, employment history, education history, skills, qualifications, and similar career-related information.

JobVector does not intentionally request sensitive personal information. However, resumes may contain sensitive information if users choose to include it. You should avoid submitting sensitive information unless you believe it is necessary.

## 3. How JobVector Uses Information

JobVector uses the information you provide to compare your background with job postings and return job recommendations.

The site may use automated ranking, embeddings, machine learning, text analysis, AI search, or similar tools to analyze resume and job text.

JobVector does not sell personal information. JobVector does not share resumes with employers. JobVector does not use resume information to train public AI models.

## 4. Automated Recommendations

Job recommendations are generated automatically and may not be complete, accurate, available, suitable, or up to date. JobVector does not guarantee that any recommendation will lead to an interview, job offer, or employment.

## 5. Technical and Usage Information

JobVector may collect basic server and usage logs, such as IP address, browser or device information, operating system, timestamps, pages visited, referring URLs, and similar technical information.

This information is used for security, debugging, operation, maintenance, and basic usage analysis.

JobVector may use analytics tools to better understand site usage and improve the service.

## 6. Service Providers

JobVector uses cloud services, including hosting, computing, storage, database, logging, and related infrastructure services, to operate the site.

Personal information may be processed by these cloud services as part of operating, hosting, storing, securing, debugging, and maintaining the service.

Because JobVector runs on cloud infrastructure, submitted information may pass through hosting, logging, storage, backup, or security systems operated by cloud service providers. Some technical records, logs, backups, or provider-side copies may be retained according to those providers’ systems and retention settings.

JobVector may use third-party analytics providers to process website usage information, including page visits, referring websites, browser information, device information, country-level location information, and similar usage metrics.

## 7. Resume Information and Retention

JobVector is designed to use submitted resume, contact, and professional information only for the time needed to process the user’s request and return job recommendations.

JobVector does not intentionally store raw user-submitted resume text after processing is complete, and is designed to minimize retention of submitted resume information where practical.

However, JobVector does not currently have a formal deletion or data-retention process, and immediate or complete deletion may not always be technically possible, especially for logs, backups, temporary files, debugging records, security records, or cloud-provider systems.

## 8. Job Posting Sources

Job postings may come from third-party sources. JobVector does not send users’ resumes to employers or job sources.

## 9. Security

JobVector takes reasonable steps to protect personal information. However, no internet or cloud-based service can guarantee perfect security or complete control over every technical copy created during processing.

## 10. Age Limit

JobVector is intended for users 18 and older.

## 11. International Processing

Information may be processed in the United States and through cloud service provider systems that may operate in other locations.

## 12. Your Choices

You may contact JobVector to ask privacy questions or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, where applicable and reasonably possible.
